2008 sees the launch of the Sydney Fishing Festival to be held on the Easter Weekend in Sydney NSW with the fishing competition starting midnight, Friday 21st to 5.00 pm though to Monday Noon 24th March 2008.

Monday the 24th March is the Expo day with the MAJOR PRIZE being drawn!

Fishing Arena is the Recreational Fishing Haven of Botany Bay and its tributaries’.

A number of large Marquee’s will be on site housing both recreational boating and fishing products.

BRIGHTON LE SANDS AMATEUR FISHERMENS ASSOCIATION:

The Fishos have been located in Brighton for the past 50 years, providing anglers with a safe destination to moor their boats and an easy access trailer boat ramp with ample parking close at hand.

The club has regular fishing competitions every month, with prizes for both senior and junior anglers, inside and outside fishing. Even if you didn't fish the comp you're still welcome to join in the fun.
